Week of April 15th

Congratulations to our March Star Students!

The Home & School Association is looking for volunteers for the upcoming movie night - sign up here and let us know if we can count on you!

JPII Students in 5th-8th grade went on a field trip to Bay College to attend the One UP Mind Trekkers Hidden Coast Festival, a STEM roadshow put on by Michigan Tech and hosted by Bay College. There  were many different tables set up with different experiments that the students could do. It's purpose is to introduce middle schoolers to different areas of STEM to get them interested in pursuing STEM careers after high school graduation.

Practicing their moves!

KR4 - 2nd Grade — it’s your turn! Sign-ups went home earlier this week; spaces are limited, and 10 of 20 spots have already been filled!

Our Spring Auction will be held on Friday, May 3rd from 4:30-10:00 pm, and we offer free childcare (with registration - contact the office to register) for those who are attending the event! The Kids Carnival will run from 4:30 until 8:00 pm, and then there will be ‘Movies in the Barn’ (projected onto a big screen, and with plenty of patio heaters!) from 8:00 until 10:00 pm!

We are looking for volunteers for both the Kids Carnival and Movies in the Barn Childcare — all childcare volunteers must be VIRTUS Certified. You can sign up to volunteer here.

Calling all garden enthusiasts! We're having a garden club meetup at the school garden on the west side of JPII on Sunday, April 21, from noon to 3:00 pm. Anyone can join us, and it's awesome if you can bring your kids along to lend a hand! We'll be getting the garden ready for spring planting, expanding beds, relocating raspberry bushes, spreading topsoil and mulch, and tackling more fun garden tasks. If you need volunteer hours or just want to dig in and help out, this is a perfect chance to get involved! See you there!
