Week of October 7th 52 Club tickets went home Thursday for Pre-K 3 families and Friday for families with KR 4 - 8th grade students. The 52 Club is a raffle in which three drawings are held every week for 52 weeks. There is a weekly $100 winner, $25 winner, and $10 winner. After determining the winners, the three winning tickets are placed back in the drum for the next week’s drawings. Thus, the previous winners can win repeatedly on the same ticket.The winners' names appear each week on our website, in the "News You Can Use" email, and in the three Menominee parish bulletins. The checks are mailed to the winners, so please ensure that complete addresses are legibly written on all sold tickets.Preschool families are required to sell 5 tickets, and families with students in Kindergarten - 8th grade are required to sell 10 tickets. If you would like more tickets to sell, please email the office. Reminder: The Garden Club will be doing their garden clean-up tomorrow, Sunday, October 6th, starting at 10am. We will be cleaning and prepping the garden area for winter and decorating the front of the school with pumpkins the students grew in the garden. All are welcome to join! Bring some gloves and join us! All hours in the garden count toward volunteer hours for the school year. You do not need to be a JPII Family to participate - all are welcome! Reminder: We will need volunteers to help with envelope stuffing to get our parishioner 52 Club Tickets ready to mail out! Envelope stuffing will take place this Tuesday, October 8th, right after school, in the gym. JPII Students whose grown-ups attend envelope stuffing will earn a N.U.T. Pass! Robotics has begun! Sign up forms went home with students in 3rd-8th Grade on Friday; please complete and return the form if your JPII student would like to participate. Pass day for students who choose to participate. All funds raised will go directly to victims of Hurricane Helene. If your student would like to participate, please send in $2 in a labeled, sealed envelope or Ziplock bag by Tuesday, October 8th. The Marketing & Development Committee will be meeting at 4:00 pm on Thursday, October 10th in the JPII Library. Reminder: The pre-registration deadline for JPII’s 2nd Annual Color Run is this Friday, October 11th. Please make sure to have your forms and payment turned in by 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 11th to take advantage of pre-registration pricing. The first Open Gym of the school year will be this Friday, October 11th from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. Open Gym is available for families of current JPII students. New this year, students in 4th - 8th grade are able to be dropped off, but must be signed in/out by a parent/guardian. Just like last year, all kids 3rd grade and younger must have a responsible adult present to attend. JPII Students went on a field trip to see James and the Giant Peach, Jr., presented by the Children's Theatre this week. It was extra special for them to be able to watch two JPII students, Grant & Lainey, perform! Flag Football Fun!
