2022-2023 School Year Wrap-Up

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Proverbs 22:6

  • Spring Auction

A HUGE Thank You to everyone who volunteered, donated, and attended this year’s Spring Auction!

  • End of School Picnic

The end of year school picnic was a TON of fun this year! Thank you to Home & School & ZFG Racing for making it happen, and a big shout out to Mystery & Magic for making sure the last day of school was phenomenal!

  • Summer Reading

Your child was sent home with books last week to read and enjoy over the summer! The academy received special finding that was made available to both public and non-public schools through the EANS Grant. Teachers selected books for their students in each grade. Some grades’ books have not yet arrived at the academy. If your child is in a grade that has not yet received all of their books, you will receive an email from the office over the summer when they are ready for pick up.

  • Summer Reading Bingo

Summer Reading Bingo cards from Mrs. Mielke were sent home with the final report cards. Please encourage your children to complete these over the summer, and bring them back on the first day of school!

  • Retirements

We have several staff members who are off to retirement: Mrs. Chaltry, Mrs. Kricket, and Mr. Scott. Congratulations to all of you! Have fun in your retirement, and know you will be missed!

  • A Fond Farewell

“I would like to say thank you to all teachers, staff, Families, and Students for all the adventures and memories made over the past 3 years. Though we are excited about our new adventures, we will miss all of you very very much! It was a great privilege to work here at JPII and I value all the new things I learned, and the friendships made along the way! Have a wonderful summer and hope to see you around!” - Mrs. Peanosky

*More information regarding ordering your yearbook will be coming soon!

  • Building & Grounds Closet Clean Out

The Buildings & Grounds Committee will be hosting a school closet clean out on June 10th & 11th from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm in the SJPII Gym. Their goal is to reclaim space for active organization storage throughout the school, and raise funds to use on improvements inside and outside of the academy!

  • Scrip Update

    Summer scrip order dates will be June 15th, July 13th & 27th, and August 10th, 24th, & 31st. Pick-up dates will be June 22nd, July 20th, August 3rd, 17th, & 31st.

We are in need of volunteers to pick up Scrip orders for the summer and the 2023-2024 school year. For more information, or if you are able to help out during the summer, the school year, or both, please email secretary@jpiicatholicacademy.org.
