On Friday, we had a special Veteran’s Day Program at JPII! The KR4 Class made some great Veteran’s Day-themed artwork to welcome visitors to the academy when they walked through the doors. Dcn. Bob opened in prayer. Walsh LeMay, a 6th grade JPII student, who is a US Civil Air Patrol Cadet, shared a short history of Veterans Day. Special guest, Lt. John Barmann, Project Officer (LCS/MMSC/FFG) of the US Navy, gave a great presentation, as well. Following the program, JPII students thanked Veterans in attendance as they headed to recess. Thank you to everyone who came to the program, and to all Veterans today, and every day! Below, you will find a slideshow that was part of our program made up of photos of Veterans submitted by JPII families and faculty/staff.
