Week of September 5th

"Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!"

Psalm 107:1

  • 52 Club Raffle

Our year-long “52 Club” fundraiser from last year is coming to an end so we are preparing the next one starting this October. This weekend you should have received a letter with the new 52 club tickets, a letter explaining it more and a return envelope for the tickets and money. As always, more tickets are available at the office.

  • Volunteer Opportunities!!

    • We still need more volunteers during lunch hour!! It is so fun to have lunch in the gym again and we need more parents/grandparents supervisors. hours are 11.15-12.15. you can do this on a weekly or biweekly basis.

    • The garden is really coming along nicely with the help of all of our parent volunteers over the summer. Stop by any time to pick some fresh veggies or just check it out! We will be having a garden cleanup/take down on September 21 at 9:00 a.m. with students. We will be cleaning up, cultivating, tidying between buildings, and picking what veggies are left. If you’d like to join the garden club email list, please contact the school office.

    • The 52 club letters that were sent out this weekend also get send out to our 3 supporting parishes. we need volunteers that can help fold these letters and put them in envelopes with the tickets. we will have an envelope stuffing event on Monday, September 12th at 3 pm, but if you can come any time before that there is plenty of prep work for this!

  • Home and School

Home and school is our version of PTO. We will be having our first H&S meeting on September 8th at 3.15 pm in the school gym. Please consider joining us and be part of rebuilding this very important team! Because of covid H&S has not been active for the last 2+ years and we really hope to get off to a great start again this year!

We also will be handing out NUT passes (non-uniform passes) to parents who attend one for each child so they will benefit from you attending meetings. The meetings also count toward volunteer hours.

  • Illness guideline for parents.

There has been much change over the past 2 years. Here an outline of the guidelines of when to keep a child home. This document does not only apply to covid but to any illness sympthoms.
