Week of August 29th

those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Isaiah 40:31

  • First day of school & Orientation

The first day of school will be Monday, August 29th. This year's supply drop-off will be at the same time as school starts for K-8th Grade.

Students are to be dropped off between 7.40 and 7.50. Parents are welcome to bring their children to their classrooms since they will have their supplies with them.

At 8.00 am there will be parent orientation in the school gym.

  • September Calendar

Printed copies will be given home with the students on Monday!

  • Home and school association.

Home and school is our version of PTO. We will be having our first H&S meeting September 8th at 3.15pm in the school gym. Please consider joining us and be part of rebuilding this very important team! Because of covid H&S has not been active the last 2+ years and we really hope to get off to a great start again this year!

  • Uniform check

New year, New beginning! we ask that parents can check over uniforms before sending kids to school. In the second half of last year, we saw a “stretching of the rules” and were hoping to correct that right from the start of this year. Here are a couple of pointers:

    • Shirts should be tucked in.

    • Hoodies are for OUTSIDE if the student wants a sweater inside it needs to be uniform approved.

    • leggings aren’t considered pants. so wear a skirt with leggings or zipper pants, please.

We will have extra clothes available at school for when students’ uniforms are not up to code so the student can change.

  • 52 Club

  • Labor day weekend

Don’t forget this Friday, September 2nd, and next Monday, September 5th is NO SCHOOL due to Labor day weekend!
