  • Nut Pass

Wednesday is a paid NUT Pass day. If participating, have your child bring their $2 in an envelope or zip lock bag with their name on it.

  • MILES for Miles

This Saturday we are having the MILES for Miles run/walk. We will start at school at 10 am and will have signs up for the route.

We really want to encourage our school families to participate in this event. We want to show Miles that we care and think about him. We are encouraging kids to make cards, drawings, encouraging notes, etc.. to drop off at his house.

There are multiple local places that are supporting the event with refreshments.

  • Strong Handy People wanted!

Great Volunteer opportunity to add some hours for your family. — We are asking for a few strong people to help us install our new Smart boards. These will up our school technology and aid in classroom learning for students. We are pretty excited, so please call the office or reply if you are interested. Thank you so much!

  • Principal’s Note

Jesus sat down opposite the treasury and observed how the crowd put money into the treasury. Many rich people put in large sums. A poor widow also came and put in two small coins worth a few cents. Calling his disciples to himself, he said to them, "Amen, I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the other contributors to the treasury. For they have all contributed from their surplus wealth, but she, from her poverty, has contributed all she had, her whole livelihood." Mark 12:41-44

    Dear Families,

This month, as we begin the season of Thanksgiving we are encouraged to take stock of and celebrate the many blessings and gifts we have been given this year as well as being called to be generous with the needs of others.

Prayer is real and all things are possible through Christ Jesus. This month and onward I ask you to join our academy family in praying in a special way for our student Miles Sorensen, for victory in his fight with leukemia. This Saturday, those able to gather in support of Miles will join in a fun run/walk from the academy to and from Miles’ home. The non-timed event is free and donations to the family are welcome. As the color of leukemia awareness is orange, we welcome you to don your best blaze orange to show your support and brighten Miles’ day!

Next week we will kick off our annual Thanksgiving food drive to help St. Vincent de Paul food pantry restock their shelves for the holiday season. The pantry informed us that they need canned soup, spaghetti sauce, tuna, canned fruit/veggies, hamburger helper, ramen noodles, jelly, baked beans, laundry soup, shampoo, and last, but not least toilet paper. Finally, the Tuesday following Thanksgiving has become a day many non-profit organizations seek help. Stay tuned next week for more information regarding our academy’s online #GivingTuesday opportunity and an online wish list.

    In Christ,
