The Home and School Committee at SJPII is a parent-run committee focused on Connecting Families. We focus on offering social events to bring together SJPII teachers and staff, families, and of course our children! Home and School also has the financial abilities to support extracurricular and academic activities for our students.

The committee is made up of JPII volunteers who meet monthly to discuss and plan events to support the school and our students. One of the greatest rewards of being involved with the Home and School committee is seeing the results of your efforts. Below is a list of a few of the projects the Home and School Committee was able to provide support for during the 2022-2023 school year:

  • Teacher / Staff Appreciation

  • Catholic Schools Week Events

  • Christmas Cookie/Craft Night

  • Winter Dance

  • Easter Egg Hunt

  • New Soccer nets for the playground

  • Spring Auction Kids Carnival

  • Monthly Hot Lunches

  • End of School Picnic

  • Movie Nights

  • Funding Classroom Needs

  • Penny Wars

  • Christmas Program

As with any school, it takes parent involvement to have a strong and forward-moving program. Please consider attending, volunteering, or donating your time/talent to support Home and School!

Please contact one of your current Home and School Board Members for further information or to learn how you can assist with an upcoming project. Not all commitments need to be ongoing—there are many one-time events throughout the year that could use extra hands. Volunteering for Home & School counts toward your volunteer obligation, as well!
