Bookmobile will be coming on Thursday, March 23 instead of Tuesday, March 21st due to Spring Break.

Academy Office Closed over Break
The Academy office will be closed during spring break, March 27th thru March 31st.

April Hot Lunch
On Wednesday, April 12th our Home and School Association will be offering a Hot Lunch featuring nachos, mixed fruit, and rice krispies! The order slips will be sent home Monday, March 20th. Please return the slips by Thursday, April 6th. We will need volunteers to help prepare and serve the food as well as supervise the lunch! Here is a Sign-Up Link

Home & School Election of Officers
Movie nights, hot lunch, teacher appreciation—if you want a part in planning these fun events, Home and School is the place for you! JPII’s Home and School Association is taking applications for officers for the 2023-2024 school year. Positions include vice president, secretary, and treasurer. If one of these positions interests you or if you have questions, please contact chair of the nominating committee, Linda Becker, at 715-923-6554 by Thursday, March 30. The association will vote on and elect officers at our April 13 meeting from 6 to 7 p.m.

3rd Quarter Report Cards
The 3rd Quarter ended on March 17th. Report cards will be coming home on the 24th. Please review, sign, and return them by April 6th.

St. JPII Drama Club needs You!
Saint JPII’s Drama Club is proud to present The Wonderful Wizard of Oz in April! We are in need of specific props, costumes, and set pieces. We have a limited budget and ask that you please consider donating, creating, or providing anything you might have at home already. Thrivent Choice
What does Thrivent Choice mean for Saint John Paul II Catholic Academy?
The Thrivent Choice charitable grant program engages Thrivent clients and Thrivent Member Networks by providing grants to support their favorite churches, nonprofit organizations and causes, including Saint John Paul II Catholic Academy. Saint John Paul II Catholic Academy has received $240 in Thrivent Choice Funds.
If you're a Thrivent Client you can direct your 2022 Choice Dollars® to Saint John Paul II Catholic Academy by 3/31/2023. These funds will be used to bring us closer to getting a LED Sign for 18th Street for our school.

Remember we will not be ordering Scrip gift cards until April 6th at noon. If you need gift cards, call the office and ask if we have any in the inventory that we keep at the office.

JPII Garden Club off and running!
Special thanks to Amanda, Libby, Heather, and all the other volunteers who worked to help prepare our new greenhouse room for students this past week! The kids stopped by on Wednesday to check out the new space and plant their seeds for the upcoming student gardening season. -MM

Calling all engineering-minded Parents!
We would like to begin a robotics club for interested students and families. To begin we have been able to acquire some sweet VEX Robotics GO and IQ kits designed for students between 3rd-8th grade, but JPII’s bright 2nd grade would likely work too!
