Cookies and Crafts with Santa
“Santa is making a stop at Saint John Paul this year!” Join our Home & School Association for an evening of cookies & crafts, Christmas music & hot cocoa, and maybe even a special gift from Santa’s reindeer to the good girls and boys! This event is free of charge but donations are appreciated. Additionally, cookie decorating kits are available to preorder as to-go options at the event. Please remember to return your registration forms to the office by Tuesday, November 29, 2022

IGiveCatholic
This coming Tuesday November 29th is “Giving Tuesday” We are using the IGiveCatholic platform to fundraise for an LED sign for the 18th Street side of the building. With this sign, our school will create a voice to go out to the community. We will have an easier time adding current information on this sign for our school.

We will also accept donations at the school during this time period. Please help us to make this a success!

Christmas food drive
Our school will support restocking the Menominee food pantry shelves (operated by St. Vincent the Paul) with a Christmas food drive.
Items will be collected from December 19th through 21st.

Pancake Hot Lunch coming soon!
Decembers Home & School hot lunch will be a pancake lunch on Wednesday, December 7th, for $4 per student. Lunch will be served in the lunchroom. Each student will be given 3 pancakes, 2 breakfast sausages, 1/2 banana or apple slices, and yogurt.
Order slips should have been sent home this weekend and need to be returned by December 2nd!
We will need volunteers to help prepare and serve the food as well as supervise the lunch! Here is a sign-up link.

Snow Removal Job Posting
- Part-time, at-will (seasonal, as needed)
- Hourly-rate dependent on experience.
- Position duties:
  - Assist custodian in removing snow from sidewalks and entrances around the academy campus following winter weather events.
  - Spreading ice melt and sand as needed.
  - Respond in a timely manner to the need for snow removal.
  - Exhibit safe use and care of academy equipment.
  - Position reports to academy custodian and principal

Scrip ordering
Because of Thanksgiving break, we did not order Scrip this week. If you placed an order it will be processed one week later. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
Keep in mind: the last day for ordering scrip to receive before Christmas is December 15th!

Gallon containers
We need some empty one-gallon ice cream tubs, or some very large pickle jars, or any type of sturdy one-gallon containers.
If you have some please send them to school. Thank you!
