Week of March 1: VOLUNTEERS UNITE

Spring Auction Committee Members Needed

With the newly relaxed COVID restrictions, we are moving forward with the planning of our Annual Spring Auction for May 7th. With just two months of preparation, we need all the helping hands we can get to pull off a successful event.

The Spring Auction is an adult-only event in which attendees enjoy a live auction with a vast array of prizes as well as delicious appetizers, wine, and laughter. This event is one you don’t want to miss! This year, we are planning for either indoor and outdoor options to ensure we are following local COVID ordinances.

If you are interested in getting involved in this event, please join us for our first meeting via Zoom on Monday, March 8th at 7:30 pm. The link for attendance is below:

5th Grade Girls Basketball

The 5th-grade girls wrapped up their basketball season on Sunday with split games, losing the 1st and winning the 2nd. It was a different type of season this year, but the girls learn to adjust to the ever-changing COVID mandates. The team consisted of 3 girls from JPII (Allison Schuettpelz, Ryann Milostan, and Carly Komp) and 4 girls from St. Thomas Aquantis (Skylyn Baxter, Lauren Peters, Alisa Finger, and Mia Riopelle), and Jennifer Milostan was the coach with assistance from Christy Baxter.

We did not play as many games as years past but were able to get in 7 weekends of games, they finished 10 and 4.
We want to thank JPII for letting us use the gym for practices, we all had a lot of fun.
