Thank you for stopping by! I am Mr. Muhs and I have the honor of serving at Saint John Paul II Catholic Academy. Saint JPII offers our community a uniquely Catholic classical liberal arts education for students in PreK through grade 8. 

As is the case with other schools, Catholic schools are not the same. At JPII we are different by design. Elite, but not elitist. We foster students who seek to be great thinkers, virtuous leaders, and intentional disciples of Jesus Christ. 

In the Catholic tradition, our curriculum aims our students to the good, the true, and the beautiful. Our faculty work in partnership with our parents to impart to students the vital academic arts, the skills that free the minds of our students to think critically and express themselves clearly. Those same students graduate to be servant leaders in their high schools and many are recognized as valedictorians and salutatorians.   

We teach our students the Christian virtues to live fully in this life and be prepared for the life to come. Concerned about the Catholic faith element? Don’t be! Jesus established the Church as told in the book of Matthew. Furthermore, Jesus teaches in John chapter 17 the desire for Christians to be one as He is one with the Father. Powerful words for our divided times. But we are made for more. 

We are more than mere human beings having  spiritual experiences, we are created beings with immortal souls having a human experience. Thus despite our different backgrounds and practices, we have the same loving friend, same Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and we are eager to share Him with your family!
